Fillin’ some kitchen space

I mentioned previously we found a new house so now it’s time to re-arrange and furnish some new spots. I feel I have watched so many home shows that I can re-do my home with what is already in it. It’s all in the staging right .

I have on odd area that I am do not know what to do with it; it’s my kitchen. There is a small room right next to the kitchen for a dinner area yet a decent amount of floor space in the kitchen. I feel something should go there but there  is also a window. NOT COMPLAINING mind you, what a great problem to have,  but not sure if or what should go there. Any ideas? I thought about a small narrow desk right under that window for my laptop??? Kind of like one of these solid oak items. I could stain it to match my kitchen table perhaps. Don’t you think oak would stand up better than some other items seeing I have 2 young kids and one on the way? (This isn’t my stuff in the kitchen, this is the previous owners coloring and items.)

Moving is a lot of work but we are getting there. We have about 2 weeks to get our stuff in order. I am just glad I have no other BIG projects planned right now or I’d be in trouble. Did I mention we are expecting? Yep, doc trips, moving details and 2 kids to enjoy it’s enough right now.

Anyway, feel free to make a suggestion, I know many of you are a amazing at home set up tips! (not sure if I like the paint color either but I doubt I will take on that project right now.)
