I am a SAHM who has 2 adorable, amazing children. I have discovered, that even with 2 kids, staying busy is something that seems to be a must for me! I am one of those people that if I can’t find it in a store (or it’s over priced), I take on the craft store to try and figure it out myself. Two of those projects have ‘evolved’ into making memory boxes and pacifier keepers and blogging about my babies. I really enjoy the blogging avenue of my life- it keeps me thinking about things besides poop and play dooh.
My Macaroni Kid story: When my daughter was ready to start roaming the world I had no idea where to take her. I began to learn by searching, googling and trial and error. I felt with all the mommy resources available it sure would be nice to have one site for all the goods! I even started to list items right here on my blog but it seems to just clutter up my posts (especially since most of my readers are not local). So, I came across this Macaroni Kid site on someone else’s blog and FELL IN LOVE! I signed up without even getting much information on it, I just knew I had to do it! Once I got involved I realized that this site isn’t just awesome, I can actually make money at it. I have easily found some advertisers that have totally covered my tiny expenses and they have been a pure treat to work with! I love this for the service it provides and the extra income I can make. This is not a multi marketing company so don’t let this next thing scare you off- ask me anything, I’d love to help see if this is right for you, all the Macaroni Moms are very helpful!!
My Blogging story: I began blogging like most people, as a place to show off some things and update family. I saw that what I enjoyed are the interactions and the fun that giving and receiving (promotions and prizes) can be! What really took to me more of a PR/Mommy site is Blogmania. The 1st ‘season’ I was a participant. I hopped from blog to blog in a mad dash to win something. The 2nd season I was a hosting blog. I learned more of the ins and out of the workings of Blogmania and loved it. I partnered up with the Blogmania masterminds and through an ‘evolution’ of sorts I ended up being the home of Blogmania 2011. I am so excited to take on this online endeavor and all the promotions that will lead up to this yearly BIG events!
On a personal note- I do the best I can to love God, love my family and love what I am doing. I try and get things right the first time, learn from my mistakes and overall just be proud of my efforts in all of those categories. My 2 tots keep me busy, but they are so amazing and have changed my life for the better! When TV is rough, kids are in bed and my mind isn’t settling down- off I go onto a new project!
